The work
Sunrise Marine details boats at the customer's dock. No haul-out, no trailering, we bring everything to the slip. We are the premium option in Tampa Bay and we compete on how the boat comes out, never on price, so the work is done properly: wash, decontaminate, sand and polish, seal. Every job is mobile, so reliable transportation is non negotiable. You will be on the water, on real boats, most days.
Pay starts at $16 an hour. Your earnings rise with a share of every boat you work on as you move up from developing to mid to lead, plus a bonus we award by hand. This is a 1099 contractor role.

Who this is for
Someone who takes pride in a finished surface and can tell the difference between fast and right. They have put in full days of outdoor physical work, they drive themselves to the job, and they want to work up to running a crew rather than pass through.
Who it is not for
Before you apply
These are the same 3 questions the application opens with. A no to any one of them ends it, so read them here first.
Every job is at the customer's dock and you get yourself there. Do you have reliable transportation to our mobile jobs across Pinellas and Tampa, and a valid driver's license?
Are you able to work outdoors in Florida heat for a full day, on and around boats and docks?
Can you start early on weekdays, and work the occasional weekend when a boat has to be ready?
How to apply
Name, email and phone. The page gives you a reference code at the end. Keep it.
Record one short video. Tell us who you are, why detailing boats interests you, and walk us through a time you had to learn something new on a job.
Film it on your phone and email it to [email protected] with your reference code in the subject. The page fills the subject in for you. No production needed, and a person watches every one.
The video is the application. We cannot review anyone without one, so plan on sending it the same day.
Sunrise Marine Detailing is an equal opportunity employer. Hiring decisions are made on the requirements of the job.
On the water, on real boats
