What changes the price
- Boat length. Pricing scales roughly per foot. A 22-ft center console and a 42-ft sportfish live in different price bands across every service.
- Current condition. Heavy oxidation, neglected interiors, mildew, or salt build-up add labor. A maintained boat costs noticeably less to detail than one that hasn't been touched in two years.
- Where it's stored. Lifts, dry storage, and covered slips stay cleaner. Wet slips and open-air storage need more frequent maintenance to hold their finish.
- Add-ons. Teak, isinglass care, ceramic top-coats, mildew treatment, and engine-room work are quoted separately so you only pay for what you need.
- Schedule. Same-week booking is included at no premium. Rush jobs and weekend slots may carry a small expedite fee depending on availability.
Service-by-service pricing breakdown
Captain's Wash — monthly maintenance
$100 – $300 per visit
Recurring wash-down and quick wipe-down designed to keep a clean boat clean. Most owners book it monthly; no contract, cancel anytime.
- Exterior wash with marine-safe soap
- Vinyl wipe-down
- Hardware rinse + chamois dry
- Photo recap after every visit
- Add-on: bottom wipe at the waterline
Deep clean (one-off)
$450 – $750 flat price
A reset wash for a boat that hasn't been touched in months. Exterior + interior + compartments, no compound or polish.
- Full exterior hand wash
- Interior shampoo (carpet, vinyl, cushions)
- Compartments + bilge wipe-down
- Console + electronics dust + wipe
- Final walk-through report
Full detail (wash, buff, polish, wax)
$1,500 – $3,000 flat price
The complete reset — exterior compound and polish to remove light oxidation and water spots, sealed with a marine-grade wax. Most owners book this 1–2× per year.

- Marine wax / sealant
- Brightwork and stainless polish
- Hardware detail (cleats, rails, hinges)
Full restoration (with wet sanding)
$2,000 – $7,000 flat price
For heavily oxidized or chalky gel coat that compound alone won't fix. Wet sanding removes the dead surface layer, followed by full compound, polish, and sealant.
- Wet sanding of oxidized surfaces
- Multi-stage compound and polish
- Color correction on dull / chalky panels
- Sealant or ceramic prep coat
- Optional ceramic upgrade quoted separately
Marine ceramic coating (2-year warranty)
$1,900 – $4,900 flat price
Factory-trained installation of a marine-grade ceramic coating that bonds to the gel coat, repels saltwater, and protects against UV oxidation. Backed by a 2-year warranty.
- Required pre-coating: paint correction or oxidation removal
- Multi-layer marine ceramic application
- UV + saltwater + spotting protection
- Documented 2-year warranty
- Recommended annual maintenance booster
Buff & Shine (compound + polish)
by quote
Compound and polish for light-to-moderate oxidation when the boat isn't ready for a full ceramic but needs more than a wax. Price depends on boat length and condition.
- Single-stage or two-stage compound
- Polish to high gloss
- Marine wax topper
- Brightwork polish included
Teak restoration
by quote
Cleaning, brightening, sanding (if needed), and sealing of teak decks, swim platforms, or trim. Price scales with square footage and current condition.
- Two-part teak cleaner + brightener
- Light sanding for raised grain
- Marine-grade teak sealer or oil
